so... many things have changed since my last journal here. i fell in love and then had to mend a brooooken heart; i've started second faculty, social studies, and resigned from the first one, portuguese culture. and i've received the most incredible birthday presents ever: a waffle-maker and... a trip to paris and orleans to see jamie cullum's concert. last time i saw him live, one of my photographic dreams came true as i could take photos during the gig. now i met jamie and we talked a while... and i can't imagine what would do better as a present than jamie saying: happy birthday, martha!

i'm also going to see U2 live for the first time in my life; then i'll travel to portugal. and i think that i've finally found studies that are really MINE.
so... well.
i feel like i'm finding myself.

and now i'm "doing absolutely nothing, which is my best quality", as jamie said during his blenheim concert, introducing his "why do today, what you can do tomorrow" song. exactly. why?
